The premium for the WIP330 apparently is derived from its larger 2.2-inch color display (versus a 1.8-inch display for the WIP300) as well as the support for additional features such as quality of service. The phone also contains power-management features that the WIP300 lacks. The WIP330 can also connect to web-based email and even receive video from the WVC54GC Wireless-G Compact Internet Video Camera, the company said.
The WIP300's feature list includes a feature called SecureEasySetup, which requires a button press on both the phone and a compliant router to establish an instant, WPA-secured connection for calls to be placed through the network. Standard features, such as call forwarding, call transfer, and call history, are also included.
